XDCAM Quick Turnaround Workflow

  1. Record Engineer will deliver the unedited XDCAM MXF file after recording finishes to sn_cirrus\DigitalDub\_REC2Edit\(your show folder)

  2. Import the XDCAM MXF into Premiere (captions should be included)

  3. Make your edits

  4. Export using XDCAM Mastering Standard including starting timecode of 00:59:40;00, first program video at 01:00:00;00, and 15 seconds of black at the end.

Include captions in your export by making this setting change (Embed in Output File):

5. Export to xcode_dropbox\_ProductionMaster\(your show folder)

6. Once your export has been going for a couple minutes, search for your program in Digital Dub (under PMR), and once it appears, request an OC MXF:

That should create an OC-spec MXF which will have the captions automatically be added in and delivered to the OC.
